Ultimate Fall Movie Guide

If you’re anything like me, you have movies to watch for any occasion, feeling, or and everything in between –  including fall. While most Floridians forget fall even exists, there’s nothing stopping me each year from cranking down my AC, lighting a vanilla candle and watching my favorite fall movie to, at the very least, pretend like seasons exist. If you’re searching for a good fall watch, look no further – here’s my list of movies that will make you feel all the fall feels.

  • When Harry Met Sally. The ULTIMATE fall movie. No explanation needed.
  • You’ve Got Mail. “Don’t you love New York in the Fall?”…duh, Joe…who doesn’t?
  • Little Women. The coziest of all movies. The 2019 adaptation, obviously.
  • Harry Potter (all of them). I don’t know why, but HP has always been a classic fall rewatch for me. And yes, you must watch all eight movies within the same weekend. Sorry – I don’t make the rules.
  • The Lake House. Keanu Reeves living in a lake house in Chicago – aka everyone’s dream fall setting. FYI – prepare to cry.
  • Pride and Prejudice. The entire feel of this movie screams fall to me – the costumes, the lighting, the score, the aesthetic. Watch and prepare to swoon as Mr. Darcy’s hand flex.
  • Knives Out. Chris Evans’ cable knit sweater is truly the only reason I need to classify this as a solid fall watch. It’s a solid murder mystery though, and it does take place around fall, so it has that going for it.
