Based in sunny Southern California, Morgan is a self-proclaimed extrovert who got into PR to channel what she loves doing — communicating — into a career. From the moment we met her, we knew that Morgan would make a great Fishie because she’s super personable and knows that building connections with colleagues, clients, and media is everything.
Morgan grew up in Alpharetta, Georgia, right along the Chattahoochee River (yeah, the one from that song!) where she loved kayaking and rafting with friends. She graduated from Clemson University (go, Tigers!) with a bachelor’s degree in political science and government. Morgan started her career in political PR and once had the opportunity to eat at the White House Mess. (She ordered a cheeseburger and molten lava cake, in case you were wondering.)
When she’s OOO, you’re very likely to find Morgan checking out a new restaurant, going for a long walk on the beach with her husband, at a concert, chatting with her dog, Nellie, watching Jeopardy, relaxing with a good book (The Nightingale is one of her favorites), or catching up with one of her four siblings. She’s a sucker for a double-stacked cheeseburger and finds baking therapeutic, although she admits she’s terrible at following measurements in recipes.
