How the International Brand Used ChatGPT to Promote its Summer LTO
To celebrate the return of Smoothie King’s fan-favorite, X-Treme Watermelon™ smoothie and launch of their new X-Treme Watermelon Lemonade™ smoothie, the brand got creative and took their summer campaign to the next level! These new summer smoothies inspired by the favorite flavors of summer – watermelon and lemonade – are bright, refreshing and bold in flavor! Knowing this, Smoothie King wanted to have a campaign that aligned with that level of vibrance! So what did they do?
Well, with all the chatter around ChatGPT and AI, Smoothie King playfully inserted themselves into the conversation by utilizing ChatGPT to write a romance novel entitled, A Summer Fling to the X-Treme, inspired by none other than the X-Treme Watermelon™ smoothie. You read that right! In time for the heat of summer, Smoothie King was able to lean into this hot trend to weave it into their X-Treme Summer Campaign! “A Summer Fling to the X-Treme” is a passionate love story that follows the main character Millie. Millie thought it was going to be another typical summer spent with her will-they-won’t-they best friend, Samson, in Simpleville. However, that all changes when a handsome, time traveling stranger by the name of Walter Melone (ha, get it?) arrives in town and is on a quest to save the world one Watermelon smoothie at a time.

The X-Treme Watermelon includes Watermelon juice blend, strawberries, coconut water, dairy whey blend and the X-Treme Watermelon Lemonade includes Watermelon juice blend, strawberries, white grape lemon juice blend, turbinado.
