Protein Shakes or Dessert?

Whether you are a total workout junkie or you simply don’t eat enough protein, adding a protein shake to your diet is beneficial for your overall health and wellness. There are a number of different protein powders to choose from and breaking that down for you would need its own post. So, I’ll just let you in on the secret that is the amazing cake tasting protein I use and share with you some of my favorite recipes! These might taste like dessert, but I promise they are healthy! Some people have even added it to coffee. Dripping Protein into Coffee makes a lot of sense because I sometimes find myself having to choose between my morning cup of coffee or my protein smoothie, but this way I can have both. Plus, it tastes like something that I would order from a local coffee shop, without the guilt.

Before I get into the recipes, I’d just like to add in some advice. As you’ll see below, you’ll need a good blender for all of the recipes. If you don’t get a high-quality blender, you’ll end up with a lumpy mixture or a motor which constantly burns out. Ninja blenders always come highly rated, so if you are looking for a blender then you might want to invest in one of those.
