Memorial Day and The Ultimate Playlist: A Collection of Summertime Jams

For most, Memorial Day means enjoying a long weekend of BBQs, boating and beer (bourbon if you’re a member of the Fish bowl). While this marks a time to honor the brave men and women who have served our country, we’re also celebrating the kick-off of Fish Summer Fridays, meaning till Labor Day, we have the green light to bounce a little early to get a jump start on the weekend. And when we’re not taking advantage of our summer perk, we try to make the office just a little “lighter” on Fridays by playing island jams and Adele’s latest hits – having an ear for both is practically a requirement to work here J

I’ve always believed that you can’t judge a book by its cover, but you can judge a person by their taste in music. At Fish, we’re known for being long-time fans of epic playlists and we have a special appreciation for timeless classics. Everyone knows you can’t have a good time without good music, so we make sure every Fish function is accompanied by a soundtrack of everyone’s top five favorite tunes. And after years of following this tradition, we’ve compiled a long list of songs from just about every decade and genre, with artists ranging from Prince and Billy Joel to Justin Timberlake and Bob Marley.

So with the start of summer approaching, and whether you’re planning a cross-country road trip, boat trips to the sandbar or beach BBQs, we’ve got you covered with a soundtrack for all occasions.

That said, pour your favorite summer cocktail and soak in the timeless classics of our ever-growing Fish playlist – some of the best songs ever made!
