March Reading List

As part of my ongoing blog series recapping the five books I’ve read each month (the first New Year’s resolution I may actually keep), here’s a list of what I read in March. Happy to share that they were all great, and if you’re a murder/mystery fan, many of these are likely up your alley!

  1. The Ex Talk by Rachel Lynn Solomon: I loved this so much. Two radio hosts pretend to be exes for the sake of making a great show, and although it was slightly predictable they’d end up together in the end, it was such a great story that I was invested enough to care. Funny, lighthearted and perfect to enjoy poolside now that warmer weather is here.
  2. The Lost Girls of Devon by Barbara O’Neal: This author wrote one of my favorite books, When We Believed in Mermaids, and happy to say that this one was just as good. Amazing family drama.
  3. The Last Time I Saw You by Liv Constantine: Same author as The Last Mrs. Parrish (which was a Reese Witherspoon book club selection) and another great thriller from her! Totally didn’t see any of the twists coming.
  4. Dear Wife by Kimberly Belle: One word – WOW! Couldn’t put this one down. Another great murder mystery. It gets a little dark, but nothing that will give you nightmares or keep you up at night.
  5. Win by Harlan Coben: Saved the best for last! Harlan Coben is by far my favorite thriller author. He’s also the creator of several great Netflix series, including The Stranger. Win is a supporting character from the Myron Bolitar series and this is the first book focused on him as the lead. It didn’t disappoint, which is no surprise as Harlan Coben never does. 10/10!
