Launching Franchise Consulting Services at Fish

Decades ago when I first entered the world of franchising, I didn’t know anyone. However, I quickly learned the collaborative, community-oriented nature of the business and was fortunate enough to meet some great people who became friends and mentors. One of these long-standing relationships has been with Lorne and his team at Fish Consulting. As fellow South Floridians, we bonded over the best way to prepare for an approaching hurricane and a shared philosophy on franchising and business in general.

Over the years we collaborated as fellow members of the IFA Supplier Forum, and we had the pleasure of working together when I served as a CDO at two franchise brands, which gave me a deeper understanding of what Fish does and why they have earned such a strong reputation among the franchise community. Between client-side gigs, Lorne and I would talk about how we could work with each other as our services were complementary. We’ve referred many clients back-and-forth, and we finally realized we should do something more formal. Well that time has come!

Starting today, Fish will be offering a full suite of franchise consulting services to its current and future partners. These services will be available independently of Fish’s communications work, but we both see our areas of specialty as fuel to grow both the consulting and PR divisions.

I’m excited to join the Fish team and to offer another layer of strategy and support to the agency.
