As if 2020 wasn’t stressful enough, we’re now deep into the holiday season and only a few days away from Christmas morning. Finding the right gift for your in-laws, spending money during a time when finances might be tight and trying at the same time to prioritize your mental health is all too much to handle as we wrap up the year. That’s why if you still have a few people on your list for gifts, I wanted to share a few ideas that, best of all, don’t require shipping.
Create a personal photo album – Not only is putting together an album for family or friends a personalized gift idea, but you’ll also find that printing photos at your local pharmacy is incredibly affordable, quick and easy. Most of the time, you’ll find they have an app you can upload all your images to from the comfort of your home, and they’ll notify you within an hour or two when they’re ready. Home delivery or curbside pickup might also be available in your city.
Put together an at-home spa gift basket – I think I can speak for everyone when I say that a basket with fuzzy slippers, eucalyptus and lavender candles, face masks and scrubs is just what we need as we say goodbye to 2020. Most of these items you should be able to find at your local TJ Maxx or pharmacy.
Assemble a wine and cheese board – For those on your list that enjoy a glass of wine once in a while, putting together a wine and cheese pairing board is a great and easy last-minute gift. Pick up a bottle of their favorite red blend at Total Wine, visit a nearby Fresh Market or Whole Foods for some cheese and fig jam and add a personal holiday card to show them how much they mean to you.
Purchase a fitness subscription – While many of us have ditched our gyms for a safer workout alternative, buying a fitness subscription for the person on your list that prioritizes their health and wellbeing is a great option this holiday season. Check out barre3, Daily Burn and Zazu!
