Here’s why this time of year is demanding for PR folks

The countdown to 2020 is on! In just a few weeks, we will kiss 2019 goodbye and start all over. While some of you may already be thinking about what new trend you’ll embrace in January or what part of the world you’ll be exploring next, here at Fish we still have lots to get done for our clients before the end of the year. Pitching national consumer media, engaging with influencers in different markets and touching base with our clients are just a few of the many items we’re working on checking off our to-do list. Below, I’ve listed out what else we’ve got on our hands.

Wrap up influencer campaigns: The holidays isn’t all about taking time off from work to meet up with family and friends. For us, we like to use timely hooks tied to the holidays to execute killer influencer campaigns for a variety of our clients. Overseeing the campaign from start to finish is no easy task and our rockstar team is doing just that this time of year.

2020 planning: Throughout November and December, our team is not only finishing up national influencer campaigns, but also planning ahead for how to go above and beyond for our clients in the coming year. Analyzing what worked, what didn’t and brainstorming new ideas is all part of the process.

Yearly meetings: Planning for the next year also includes in-person meetings with our clients. Whether we hop on a plane and visit the team in another state (or country!) or our clients come to sunny South Florida, these past few weeks (and those remaining) are full of meetings, agendas and great ideas.
