If you’re a franchisee and haven’t registered for the International Franchise Association’s Franchise Action Network Annual Meeting, what are you waiting for?
The event gives you the chance to meet with your representatives in Congress to discuss legislation that impacts the franchise business model. Things that will affect your business directly. And the event is free for franchisees.
If you’re a franchisor, encourage your franchisees to attend. Congress wants to hear from local business owners about what’s important to them and this is a perfect chance for them to use their voice to support franchising.
When you register, IFA will take it from there. They’ll set up meetings with your members of Congress and you’ll be provided with details about all the issues and prepped beforehand. And you likely won’t be alone. Others from your state and district will accompany you to the meetings.
Aside from the day on the Hill, FAN is a great opportunity to catch up with franchising industry contacts and meet new people.
I’m looking forward to once again visiting the offices of Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA), Sen. Tim Kaine (D-VA), and Rep. Don Beyer (VA-08).
See you soon, FANs!
