Bojangles, one of the nation’s leading restaurant franchises, wanted to start off 2022 with a bang — and they did not disappoint.
In January, we helped the famous brand announce a major Texas expansion, with plans to bring roughly 50 new restaurants to the Dallas Fort-Worth, Houston, Austin, and San Antonio areas. Beyond announcing this big news, we wanted to build buzz for Bo’s franchise opportunity throughout Texas and around the country.
Our media relations campaign led to the big splash Bojangles wanted, with major national and local media attention in publications like QSR magazine, Franchise Update, and several Texas-based TV stations. Our team also secured multiple interviews for Jose Costa, Bo’s Chief Growth Officer, with the Dallas Business Journal, Houston Chronicle, and San Antonio Business Journal. Each discussion allowed Jose to elaborate on the current development pipeline for each targeted area, as well as the brand’s growth strategy moving forward.
Bojangles shows no sign of slowing down, with a clear vision of opening over 100 units in Texas throughout the next 7-10 years. Beyond Texas, Bojangles plans to grow in new and existing markets, so the brand is seeking qualified franchisees in several regions across the U.S.
If you haven’t been to a Bojangles lately, we highly recommend checking it out. Sales are growing, which is in large part because of Bo’s one-of-a-kind concept and design setting apart the brand. And let’s not forget about the strong morning daypart featuring its beloved biscuit menu items. In fact, about 40% of Bojangles’ sales come in before some competitors even open their doors — making Bo a true standout. Bo also offers several prototypes, with concepts that include the brand’s acclaimed “Biscuit Theater.” Bo currently operates approximately 750 restaurants across 14 states, but if you don’t have one near you, there may be one soon!
