Earlier this month, the one and only Elon Musk put in a bid to build a tunnel in Fort Lauderdale. I mean, is there anything this guy hasn’t thought of?
According to CNN Business, The Boring Company – Elon Musk’s business – have plans to build a tunnel between the city’s downtown area to the beach. Local government shared their acceptance for this project, The Las Olas Loop, and have expressed this as a solution to possibly alleviate parking stress at the beach. Drivers would be able to park cards downtown and then ride in a Tesla to the beach.
While Fort Lauderdale hasn’t released specifics of The Boring Company’s plan, we’re excited to see what the future looks like for our amazing Fort Lauderdale town.
