Like most people who followed quarantine and stay-at-home orders, 2020 meant that I watched more TV than I ever thought possible. Despite countless streaming services, there were still somehow moments where I actually ran out of content – something I never thought possible pre-pandemic, but here we are. Staying home and binge watching endless hours of TV went from a complete waste of time to now being the best way to protect my community and be a responsible citizen living through a pandemic. Not all heroes wear capes, am I right?
While my hopes are high that 2021 is going to be a better year than this hellscape was, with a vaccine still not rolled out and the new presidential administration transition going bumpy so far (to put it politely), it’s safe to say that at the very least, we all may still be spending a lot of time at home in Q1. If you need a watch list to make it through the final stretch of the pandemic, here are the favorite shows of mine that single handedly got me through the past 9 months of social distancing.
