Surprise! Your favorite team of PR rock stars has earned yet another Best Places to Work recognition and we are THRILLED. Fish has created a culture unlike any other and while we’ve always known that, it’s really special when outside organizations start to take notice, especially in our hometown. The latest notch on our belt? Placing #6 in the small companies category on South Florida Business Journal’s Best Places to Work list.
This recognition is special because our inclusion on the list is a direct reflection of how happy and proud we are to be working at Fish. To be considered, each employee must fill out an anonymous survey that is used to gauge employee satisfaction. Included in the survey are questions about professional development, job perks, leadership specifics etc. Each employee is given the chance to provide honest feedback on how they feel Fish is contributing to their personal growth and workplace happiness, which helps determine the top 15 Best Places to Work companies in the small, medium and large categories. We love being a part of this collaborative, hard-working, supportive team and this award highlights that.
The awards luncheon was held last Thursday at the Signature Grand in Davie and in true Fish fashion, we donned our most spirited attire from red wigs and capes to oversized glasses and flashy jewelry. Our goofy ensemble has become tradition, but let’s hope Lorne doesn’t get any ideas on making this look permanent 😉
