Need to clean your coffee pot? Use denture tablets
Yes, you heard right – actual denture tablets! Simply fill up the back tank of your coffee maker with warm water and drop in two tablets. Once fully dissolved, run the coffee pot through a regular cycle and repeat. The second run through, use only warm water.
Keep losing socks? Not anymore!
Seriously, why didn’t I think of this genius hack? Each one of us is familiar with the annoyance of losing socks every time we do laundry. Instead, leave a small mesh bag in your hamper just for socks. You can just toss the bag in the washer and dryer, leaving no room for them to escape.
Kitty litter is a road trip must-have
Heading out for a weekend getaway? Pack some kitty litter. If you spill a drink in the car, spread the kitty litter over it to help cleanse and absorb bad odors. Fun fact: You can also fill a pair of socks with kitty litter to keep your windows from fogging up. Just place the filled sock on the dashboard and leave overnight to soak up any moisture.
