3 Holiday Cocktails to Whip Up Before the End of the Year

If there’s one thing we’ve learned in 2020 is to get creative and give those recipes that have been sitting in our kitchen drawer untouched a try. From banana bread to whipped coffee, Americans rolled up their sleeves and started cooking. With the holidays just a month or so away, this new profound love is slated to stick around. That’s why I thought I’d save you the Google search and round up the top three holiday cocktails to try this year!

Christmosas
In just 15 minutes, you can make this simple yet flavorful punch that your guests will be asking for more and more. Delish.com recommends combining Granny Smith apples, cranberries, pomegranate seeds and grapes. Then, add the sparkling grape juice and champagne of your choice. Stir and it’s ready to go.

Peppermintinis
I typically stay away from anything with the word martini in it because the drinks tend to be too strong to enjoy. However, these seem to be irresistible. Start by dipping the rims of each glass on melted chocolate and crushed candy canes. Add the remaining melted chocolate to the martini glass and place each glass in the freezer. While that’s hardening, add in a shaker the white chocolate liqueur, peppermint schnapps, vodka and heavy cream. Add ice and gently shake until you feel it’s cold and well blended. Remove the glasses and pour the shaken cocktail mix. If you’re feeling extra festive, add a candy cane to each glass.

White Russian
This coffee-flavored cocktail is definitely a crowd pleaser you can quickly whip up after dinner. Pour a glass with ice and fill it up with 2 ounces of Kahlua and 2 ounces of your preferred-brand vodka. Add the heavy cream and serve it up. It’s simple, yet tasty!
