Are you ready to feel really old? 2019 marks the 25th anniversary since the iconic NBC sitcom Friends premiered. Thanks to Netflix, Friends is still alive and well in the pop culture zeitgeist, and despite a few aspects of the show that haven’t aged well (cough cough rampant homophobia cough cough), it will always hold a top spot in my favorite shows ranking. There’s just something about hearing the opening notes of that iconic theme song that can instantly put you in a good mood. Over the course of the show’s 10 year run, there were countless iconic moments and standout storylines that earned each of the series’ six lead characters a permanent spot in our hearts.
