Meet Isabella! Isabella is our resident expert on all things Chicago and could talk your ear off about all the great eats the city has. She holds a deep love for Italian food, wine, and hotdogs. What we love about Isabella is that she thinks like a journalist from her days as a morning broadcaster. Although she gives off serene and laid back vibes, Isabella is very vocal when it comes to story angles and what she believes the media will care about. Work you and personal you likely differ slightly. So how would your friends describe you?
My BFF constantly refers to me as ‘delicate.’ And not to brag, but I have been told that I give off Kate Middleton vibes, despite my love of hotdogs. I guess that’s what friends are for.

Bookworm or TV addict?
Books over TV always. I’m always looking for new reads to fill my time (& my beloved built ins)

Watching Jamie Avalon instruct a bartender on how to make a dirty martini ~appropriately~ dirty enough

Hmm. Probably be on the phone. All day.

Early bird! Nothing good happens past 2:00 a.m. 10:00 p.m.
What are you currently binge watching?
I’m either completely focused while watching The Soprano’s or folding laundry with Sex & The City in the background. There is no in between.
Tacos – hard shell or soft shell?
Soft for sure! Do people actually like hard shell?
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
I feel like I should say something that would really enhance my life here, but I truly just wish I didn’t sunburn so easily.

Bloody Mary or Mimosa? And you can’t say both, although I’d absolutely respect it.
As much as I want to be a bottomless brunching mimosa gal, I’ve never been champagne’s biggest fan. Plus, you just can’t beat the spicy, savory, acidic concoction that is the B Mary. And that crunchy celery stalk? Yes. Absolutely yes.
