Allison, or Ali as she introduces herself, was born and raised in Tallahassee, twirling a baton as a competitive majorette and barrel racing her horses Charlie and Freckles. Cue the collective aww. After studying teaching at the Tallahassee campus of Flagler College, she started working in PR for The Zimmerman Agency with clients in the travel and hospitality industries.
Ali spent 25 years in Tallahassee before moving to Ft. Lauderdale. She actually interviewed with Fish once before but unfortunately, more for us than anyone else, we had nothing for her at the time. So, she worked in travel-based PR in Miami and commuted between there and Ft. Lauderdale. As commutes tend to do, the drive became too much and she began working for a local agency in Ft. Lauderdale where she worked with two future Fishies, Matt and Nadia. They convinced her to apply to Fish again and the rest, as we’re pretty sure no one has said before, is Fishtory.
Ali’s clients include a variety of home service and restaurant brands. And when the long day of account management is over, you can probably find her working out, hitting the beach, binge-watching Real Housewives or rooting for her hometown FSU.
As an only child, without so much as a first cousin, Ali may not come from a big family, but she’s part of one now and we look forward to endless stories about her cat, Tank, and Bravo TV!
