The Extra Sweet Promotion from One of Our Favorites, Chicken Salad Chick

Cookies for a CURE: Chicken Salad Chick Selling New Buttercream Cookies for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

Every year, more than 17,000 children in the United States and 400,000 worldwide are diagnosed with cancer. While research has brought the overall survival rate above 80%, cancer remains the leading cause of death by disease for children.  We understand cancer, especially when it affects children, is not an easy topic to discuss. However, it’s necessary to address if we ever hope to find a cure. As we head into September, Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, one of our clients – Chicken Salad Chick – is launching its Cookies for a CURE promotion to raise money for childhood cancer research.

Chicken Salad Chick, the nation’s only fast-casual chicken salad restaurant concept, will be selling new Lemon Burst Buttercream Cookies (yum!) during the month of September for this special promotion.  The limited Lemon Burst Buttercream Cookies will be topped with a natural lemon zest buttercream frosting in honor of the gold ribbon which serves as the international symbol for Childhood Cancer.

A portion of the proceeds from cookie purchases will be donated directly to Chicken Salad Chick’s partner organization, CURE, whose mission is dedicated to childhood cancer research while supporting patients and their families.  With the support from Chicken Salad Chick and other generous partners, CURE was able to set a record this year with grants for childhood cancer research totaling more than $4.7 million!

Chicken Salad Chick is expecting to donate over $40,000 directly to CURE on behalf of the Cookies for a CURE promotion.

If you’re lucky enough to live near a Chicken Salad Chick, make sure to stop by this September and order a new Lemon Burst Buttercream Cookie (or two!) while supplies last. I guarantee you won’t want to miss out on this extra sweet cause.
