Thank You, Reese Witherspoon

You would think after reading emails, press releases and various articles for eight hours that I would be tired of reading. But actually, it’s my getaway. It’s been one of my favorite hobbies since I was little, but my family has always hated going to the bookstore with me. Why? Because I take an hour to find ONE book. Yep, I’m that person that reads the back cover of each book she passes to find that diamond in the rough. Its exhausting, even for me, and that’s why I’m thankful for Reese Witherspoon.

She’s created her own book club and each month she recommends a new book for her followers to read. I have yet to be disappointed, so I’ll share my top two. Aka go buy them!

The Alice Network

Written by Kate Quinn, this historical novel is captivating from start to finish. The book shares the story of two women, a retired female spy from World War I and an unconventional American socialite, on a journey of redemption. Fueled by their hatred for a collaborator named Rene Bordelon, the women go cross-country searching for the man that destroyed their lives. How can two women, nearly 30 years apart, share the same story? Read to find out!
