From the moment we learned that Ines has a passion for traveling, we knew she was going to fit right in at Fish. Not only do we all love to travel, too, but also we know that fellow globetrotters tend to have the traits that define a great PR pro: a natural curiosity, adaptability, plenty of problem-solving skills, and, of course, a love of just about every cuisine! Ines has been to over 26 countries (Japan has been her favorite so far), so we think it’s safe to say she has the makings of a strong Fishie.
Ines was born and raised in sunny Miami where she loved the year-round sunshine and easy access to Cuban food. When it came time to go to college, she went north — like way north, to Boston University, where she fell in love with the city and got to experience seasons and snow. She knew she wanted to pursue a career in writing, but also knew she didn’t want to be a journalist. So Ines went down the PR path, and hasn’t looked back since. Her most memorable moment so far was while she was working at BU’s student-run agency where she worked on a photo shoot for a French sea salt brand. Basically, the brand cooked a bunch of delicious food for them to shoot — and then they had a feast!
When she’s not in the office or visiting new places, Ines loves going to the beach, cooking and baking, checking out new restaurants, indulging in fast-food pizza (her guilty pleasure), and finding new outlets to pour her creativity into, like interior design. She’s also a licensed permanent makeup artist and collected hundreds — yes, hundreds! — of Archie comics as a kid.
