Erin is one of those PR pros who understands that good PR doesn’t happen overnight. The most impactful media coverage usually comes after hours of brainstorming, research, writing, pitching, and, oh yeah, a ton of follow-up. And that’s Erin’s mantra: never stop following up. She knows that an OK story idea today could be an even better, more relevant one tomorrow — and that’s why we (and our clients) love her. She never gives up!
Erin grew up in Coral Springs, Florida, before heading north to Tallahassee where she graduated from Florida State with a degree in merchandising and business. (For those who know Florida rivalries, Erin’s dad is a diehard ‘Cane and she was forbidden to be a Gator. Seminoles were considered neutral ground in their household.) After graduation, her professional path brought her back to South Florida and eventually into the ad agency world, which led her to PR — and she fell in love with it. She loves being in the background to help someone else shine, like the time she got to spend a day as the handler for Bon Jovi’s Richie Sambora during his visit to a children’s hospital. But her behind-the-scenes work paid off later when Richie gave Erin and her husband a private concert!
While Erin’s been successful in her PR career so far, her greatest achievement is being a mom to two beautiful babies, Luke and London. She loves talking about them and showing them off! And when it’s time for a little “Erin” time, she likes kickboxing to 90s-2000s hip hop or enjoying her favorite Chinese dishes, chocolate, or a freshly made margarita.
