Super Bowl LIII – Mean ‘Memes’ Edition

As the great champion Rick Bobby once said, “If you ain’t first, you’re last”. There’s something about a little competition that really brings out the warrior in everyone and with sports fans, a pack of competitive warriors can create quite the fearless army.

For the past two weeks, the passionate fans of the New England Patriots and the Los Angeles Rams have taken over social media, showcasing their dislike for the other. Gone are the days of a simple mean tweet – today, it’s all about the mean memes and honestly, I’m here for it. What’s the year’s biggest football game without a little pre-game trash talk, am I right?

Thought deflategate was a thing of the past? Think again. Rams fans are making sure it’s still relevant.

There’s strength in numbers and sorry Rams, but the Patriots fans have you beat.

While I admit I may be a little biased (Go Pats!), Rams fans think the refs are playing favorites too…

Speaking of refs, if it wasn’t for their bad play calls during the Saints vs. Rams playoff game, the Rams wouldn’t even be in the Super Bowl. As a thank you, Rams starting running back Todd Gurley, posted this meme as parting gift.

May the best team win!
