Roundup: Fall’s Must Watch Shows

‘Tis the season for pumpkin spice everything, cozy sweaters and beautiful foliage…well, for those in the Northeast or anywhere besides South Florida. We may not have a change of seasons down here, but we can still do one of my all-time favorite fall activities – binge watch TV.

I’ve put together a solid roster of shows I highly recommend for anyone looking to stay in for the weekend and veg out.

  • Yellowstone (Paramount Network): The cowboy/western version of Sons of Anarchy, starring Kevin Costner as one of the most powerful ranchers who controls the largest swath of farmland in the U.S. The story follows along the drama that consumes the Dutton family. Shout out to his daughter, Beth, for being one of the most likeable villain/bad assess I’ve ever seen on TV.
  • Mind Hunters Season Two (Netflix): Season two takes a more in-depth look at several infamous serial killer cases, particularly the “Atlanta Child Murders” and hones in on investigator Bill Tench’s difficulties with his adopted son and the fascinating correlation of his home/work life.
  • Carnival Row (Amazon Prime): Think Harry Potter meets Lord of the Rings meets Game of Thrones and you’ve got yourself the fantastical Carnival Row, starring Orlando Bloom and Cara Delevingne.
  • Free Meek Documentary (Amazon Prime): This true-crime documentary follows Philly-born rapper, Meek Mill, and his decade long battle through the Philadelphia legal system. The series exposes a laundry list of allegations of police corruption and a highly biased judge whose determined to hold the rapper accountable for an 11-year old case.
