As Blo Blow Dry Bar’s PR agency of record, part of our efforts entail PR support for new grand openings. Our services were enlisted by a franchise partner who was opening a new location in Denver, CO, so we were tasked with generating brand awareness in the local market and driving traffic to the bar during the grand opening.
Fish developed an integrated public relations strategy that would generate buzz at the local level. We drafted and distributed a press release to announce the grand opening, developed story angles and executed an aggressive local media relations campaign targeting key print, broadcast and online media in Denver, and created a media alert to secure day-of coverage. Additionally, we executed a local influencer campaign and coordinated in-bar visits for top lifestyle influencers in the area so they could share their experience on their social platforms and extend brand visibility to their followers.
During the project timeframe, Fish secured more than 20 media hits and social media posts from more than a dozen influencers, garnering nearly 6.1 million media impressions in local outlets such as the Denver Business Journal, Denver Style Magazine, The Denver Post and Sentinel Colorado, among others.
