Open Position: Account Manager
We are looking for an energetic AM to join our team!
Responsibilities
- Support development and execution of PR strategies for multiple clients
- Serve as day-to-day account manager on select accounts
- Draft press releases and bylined articles
- Develop proactive media angles and pitch to national, industry trade, and local media
- Identify reactive media opportunities
- Communicate with clients and participate in client calls
- Assist with administrative duties like research, media monitoring, clipping, and reporting
- Provide direction and guidance to junior employees
Requirements
- At least 6 years of PR experience
- Agency experience preferred
- Some travel required for client conferences and industry events
Additional Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Passion for conceptualizing creative ideas and campaigns with a team
- Experience serving as day-to-day client contact
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage work on multiple accounts
- For consumer accounts, experience with influencer marketing is required
- Knowledge of the franchising industry is a plus, but not required
