Apps to create the perfect “influencer” aesthetic

Call me lame but sometimes posting on Instagram or any other social media platform can be stressful. Cropping, finding the right filter (sometimes this takes multiple apps) and crafting the perfect caption, it’s time consuming to say the least. I’m definitely not an Instagram influencer but I do try to “curate” my posts to at least have the same aesthetic 😉 Of course, influencers are expected to have somewhat of a following behind them but this can often be hard to generate when you’re just starting out; you could buy Instagram followers to give your online presence the boost it needs for your public image to be one of success and popularity. Here are a few on the apps that can help take your aesthetic to the next level:

  • Facetune: Facetune is essentially Photoshop for your smartphone and can blemishes, smooth skin, whiten teeth, etc.
  • HUJI: Huji is a fun app to make your pictures look like it was taken on film in the 80s or 90s (whatever floats your boat!) The effect varies for every photo you upload.
  • Snug: This app lets you upload future posts and move them around to see how your photos would look on the gram before you post.
  • VSCO: Super modern and easy to use, VSCO is one of my go-to’s. The app offers several preset filters to choose from and even let’s you create and save your own filter. VSCO also offers users to manually adjust settings like brightness, contrast, texture and more! Most of the features are free…key word most…but like all things, if you want more, you’ve gotta pay for more.
  • Camera+: This app makes me feel like a legit photographer. With tools like the grid feature to make sure you’re following the “rule of thirds” and photo flashlight to improve your photo’s quality, there’s no going wrong when you download this app.
