A Scottsdale Trip with Freddy’s

Every year, OG Fish client, Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, hosts its family reunion, welcoming franchise owners from more than 400 locations around the nation as well as marketing partners and operational vendors to meet, greet and learn all the updates on what Freddy’s has in store for a new year ahead.

This year was particularly exciting because the reunion was held in the beautiful Westin Kierland Resort & Spa in Scottsdale, Arizona where guests dipped their toes in the lazy river in between keynote speeches from Jay Baer and Ross Bernstein. With a great array of marketing updates ranging from new technology integration with Olo, new POS systems (lots of puns there) to app development and improving The Freddy’s Way, all areas were checked off the list this reunion.

The Fish team (Sam and I) had a great time chatting with our Freddy’s team over a glass of wine and catching some Zs ahead of our super early flight back to South Florida, as time flew quickly on our three-day trip.

For me, Freddy’s was a great way to learn more about the brand and officially onboard as I add to the team for some exciting opportunities spoon (I mean, soon – unless you’re eating a concrete).
