20 Questions with Chelsea Bear

Don’t let Chelsea’s sweet, quiet demeanor fool you. Her fiery passion and killer skills make her a powerhouse PR pro, producing incredible work for her clients including Massage Heights and Glory Days Grill. We’re so lucky the stars aligned just perfectly six months ago when Chelsea found us. Her lovable personality is a breath of fresh air and her positive attitude makes everyone want to be around her. Even in the face of mayhem (and let’s face it, us PR peeps live in a constant state of it), Chelsea always seems to have a smile on her face. She grew up the oldest of three kids in her family and attributes her ability to remain unfazed by chaos to her lively upbringing. Here’s what else you need to know about Chelsea.

Work you and personal you likely differ slightly. So how would your friends describe you?
A great listener, a comical relief and an optimistic point of view for pretty much every situation.

And how would Lorne describe you?
Hmm, I’m assuming quiet and hard worker? He always says he hears good things about me, so thank you to whoever keeps telling Lorne I’m awesome.

Bookworm or TV addict?
TV addict

What’s your funniest Fish memory?
My birthday celebration when there were no candles for the cake and we had to use Lauren’s iPhone app as a candle. Don’t worry – Marisa immediately ordered hundreds of candles from Amazon so it would never happen again.

If you were Lorne for a day, what would you do?
Hire an office chef. I’m not cut out to be a meal-prep person.

Early bird or night owl?
Night owl. In an ideal world my bedtime would be closer to 3 a.m. compared to the 11 p.m. time my phone recommends for me to be a functioning adult the next day.

What are you currently binge watching on Netflix?
Parks & Rec for the first time! The Treat Yo’ Self and Galentine’s Day trends finally make sense. Rightfully so.

Tacos – hard shell or soft shell?
Hard shell but with a soft shell on the plate. So when everything falls out, I get an extra taco. #lifehacks

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
I’d be naturally tan all year long. Or at least have more time for beach days.

If it were up to you, what would your song selection be for conference line hold music?
I would keep “Hello” by Adele. I appreciate the pun.

Bloody Mary or Mimosa? And you can’t say both, although I’d absolutely respect it.
Mimosa(s). Because we all know it’s never just one.

You can bring anyone as a date to a dinner party, dead or alive, who’s your plus one
Definitely Drake. Who doesn’t love a Jewish boy who can rap with a great sense of humor?

We know you can’t sing, but what’s your go-to karaoke song?
A classic – Don’t Stop Believing

What’s your party trick?
I don’t really have one but I am good at falling on demand and occasionally bringing someone down with me. Sorry, Andie 😉 #HolidayParty2016

Pick your poison – straight shot or mixed cocktail?
Straight shot.

Amy Poehler or Amy Schumer?
I love both but I definitely have to pick Amy Poehler. Besides my recent obsession with Parks & Rec, I’ve been a huge fan of hers since her SNL days. Amy Poehler and Tina Fey are one of my favorite duos next to Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon.

If you could spend a year living anywhere in the world, where would it be?
New York. This Florida girl needs to experience seasons at least once in her life, right? Plus I probably couldn’t make up the stories I’d get from just people watching in the city. That alone would make it worth it.

When was the last time you told a lie? And if you say you don’t lie, then your answer should be “right this second.”
I don’t have a specific example in mind but the last time I lied most likely had to do with why I was running late to something. I always underestimate the amount of time I have to spend in bed before getting ready.

Besides an ice cold cocktail, what motivates you?
My family and friends. Don’t know how I got so lucky to have the people in my life that I do. They keep me going!

If your name were an acronym, what would it stand for?
Caring
Humorous
Entertaining
Loyal
Sly (just kidding, you can hear me coming from a mile away)
Easygoing
Adventurous
